Again, our Village Day Sale was a success. We were busy from 8:30 am till closing at 5:30 pm. As usual, a few dedicated customers came early (7:30 am) to select items as Bill and I were setting up. We have been doing this for over 30 years now and I feel our customers really appreciate the bargains we offer just once a year. The weather, although cool in the morning, warmed up and got quite hot by the end of the day. We are always keeping our fingers crossed on this, since it's totally out of our control. Congrats to Rick O'Connor, the Yonge Lawrence Village BIA Co-Ordinater, who oversees all the events that take place on this day. You can always go to http://yongelawrencevillage-bia.com to get info on next year's Village Day which will fall on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Always great to see a lot of old customers come in and take advantage of the sale plus a lot of new people discovering us for the first time. Thanks to everyone for making our sale a success.
