Glassworks by Susan Taylor-Stevenson
We received our first shipment of glass by Susan last week. We are thrilled to be introducing her work into our store. This is quite a departure for us to have such a large display of something other than pottery. Each piece is created by fusing many layers of glass in a kiln for about 8 hours. The glass is then placed in a mold to form the shape and put back in the kiln for another 6 hours. The bowl above is an example of her soft blues, greens and purples. We also have brilliant red with gold and lime green with blue. There is a variety of colours, shapes and sizes to suit many tastes.
